Salone del Mobile 2010 #008_and the winner (for me) is...

L'uno naif e con echi allo strano mondo di Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie, l'altro profondamente critico e ironico nei confronti della società odierna. Questi per me sono i designers del Salone del Mobile 2010. Chiaramente è un giudizio puramente soggettivo e non mi voglio innalzare a giudice assoluto, è solo che sono stata colpita dall'ecletticismo nell'uso dei materiali delle due giovani designers che hanno creato una mobilia, con tanto di accessori, funzionale e al contempo decisamente piacevole esteticamente, e dall'acutezza da parte di un gruppo di creativi nel parlare delle crisi più profonde nelle quali, volenti o nolenti, siamo oggi coinvolti(dalla crisi del burka, a quello dell'anoressia, fino a quella della chiesa) attraverso il design. Io per ora prendo nota e mi complimento!

The first one is naif and with something inside that remember the strange world of Alice in Wonderland, the other one is deeply critical and ironic against the today's society. These for me are the designers of the Design Week 2010. Naturally it is a purely subjective judgment and I don't want to rise myself to an absolute judge, it is only because I have been surprised from the eclecticism in the use of materials by two young designers who created a functional forniture, whit accessories, and at the same time aesthetically pleasant, and from the acuteness of a group of creative people who want to speack about the deepest crises in which, voluntarily or not, we are all involved today (from the crisis of burka, to the anorexia or the crisis of the Church) through design. For now I take notices and I congratulate to them!
